Website Designer (HTML, CSS, Javascript)

A marketing agency headquartered in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a talented team member to conceptualize and design and implement UX/UI design for e-commerce and informational websites for various clients. Strong capabilities in designing high-quality, technically strong layouts are a must.

This role requires the ability to work remotely on certain days.

• Create and update website designs for better User Experience (UX) and User Interactions (UI)
• Responsible for the providing mockups, implementing designs, testing, and maintaining websites
• Coding with HTML, CSS, Javascript and using frameworks (Shopify, WordPress, BigCommerce)
• Using client assets, branding and goals to create beautiful websites
• Communicate with the Project Manager regarding all tasks, milestones, and projects
• Work with internal teams to identify and develop customer journeys and roadmaps
• Stay current on UI and UX trends to drive new innovative and creative ideas
• Attend client meetings
• Deliver improvements and optimizations to existing features
• Using version control (Github) and documenting activities
• Record time log and notes on our tracking software
• Meet established deadlines for assigned projects and proactively inform stakeholders of project status and updates

• Hybrid work from home and in-office once weekly in Kalamazoo, Michigan
• Must work during business hours Weekdays 8 am - 4 pm EST
• Minimum 2 years of Web and UX/UI design experience 
• Experience using tools like Figma, Adobe XD or similar for client mockups
• Follow our coding standards and design patterns
• SEO/SEM background highly desired
