Website Developer (PHP)

This job will involve creating and maintaining PHP frameworks for multiple clients and applications.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who is passionate about building applications and learning. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take the lead on innovations and projects. 

• Coding with native PHP and using frameworks (Laravel, WordPress, etc.)
• Manipulating data with REST API, MySQL Database, and other data sources
• Communicate with the Project Manager regarding all tasks, milestones, and projects
• Create new ways to solve problems
• Responsible for the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of websites and web-based programs
• Provide strategic feedback on what’s possible for us and our clients
• Estimate the amount of time required to complete duties
• Writing documentation for your code and programs
• Using version control and continuous improvement
• Attend client meetings where needed
• Record time log and notes on our tracking software

• Hybrid work from home and in-office once weekly in Kalamazoo, Michigan
• Must work during business hours Weekdays 8 am - 4 pm EST
• Minimum of 1 year using PHP in production
• Own mistakes to us and clients
• Follow our coding standards and design patterns
• Must complete a minimum of 32 billable hours per week
• Paid on billable hours

• Holidays paid after the first month
• Paid time off based on history of billable hours
• Ability to convert to Salary after 90-day probation
